ASUS - Touch Panel doesn't work?

    Hello everybody.

    I got an ASUS N50Vn aka X5AVseries..

On the top of the keyboard I got a "touch panel" where I can control the volume, change the computers performance and so on.

But after installing Windows 7 it doesn't work.

Anybody knows what to do? Maybe a speciel driver I need?

    Thanks, Peter.

You have to install all the acpi/she drivers from asus's website. You can use the vista or xp drivers.

(had to do this on an 1000he from asus, but I got almost all hardware keys working)

Under ATK is the acpi drivers. Under utilies there's something called Power4 gear, i can only assume that's the performance adjustments on your laptop model. They have different names I'm not familiar with.

Upgrade I think.. Vista is still on the pc, because when I turn it on, I can choose Vista or Win7 to boot from..

Edit: My Fn buttons doesnt seem to work either.
