Yep, this worked for me also, but I used the following instructions to get it all to work: Enable Logon Using Biometric Fingerprint Reader in Windows 7 x86 & x64
Hope it helps,
Mike

Can you provide a source for these drivers? They are no longer on the Authentec site.
Try this page:
AuthenTec | Sitemap
Unfortunately not much help. Nothing there for software, drivers, just product descriptions. I did find this about Truesuite:
TrueSuite software has been optimized for the Windows Biometric Framework (WBF) within Windows 7.
That's within the OS itself, not to log into the OS. I have sent an email to Authentec. I would suggest everyone do the same, otherwise they will never fix this problem.
Write to:glenn.hicks@authentec.com
I also checked the drivers under device properties, and they said the drivers installed were the best, which is clearly wrong since it won't work correctly.
Also, what type of computer are you using the AES1610 on? Mine is an Asus, and they are terrible about providing updated drivers. Maybe I could use the ones from your manufacturer.
