Best thing you can do on the Bios on ASUS boards.

If it ain't broke don't break it!

I'm running v7 bios and they have v11 available. It works great so until I have problems it stays with v7.

I would update it, the changelog read an improvement in system stability so I'd say give it a shot.

1. Asus does have a EZ Flash. I haven't used it yet for my mother board.
2. Check their forum and see if any body is having any problems with the bios update for your exact mother board.
3. If you are not having any problems IMHO leave well enough alone. Get every thing working as you want it to and take another look and see if that is what you want to do. I have a P6X58D-E and I haven't make up my mind yet. When I get every thing as I want it and their is a problem I will check if the bios update is related to my problem and then take the plunge.
Let us know what you decide and what happens.

BSOD using Asus Update on Asus Suite II
Whenever I click on the Asus Update on Asus Suite II it automatically gives me a BSOD. It then tells me to update the driver. I uninstalled Asus Suite II and installed the latest version from the Asus website. It still gave a BSOD when I clicked Update. A little bit about my comp: 64 Bit...

Helllo everyone, I wanted to buy the Radeon HD 6870 but it's not on the market here anymore, so I will have to buy another one -- hopefully not the HD 7850 xD. So, which one should I pick: the ASUS EAH6850, or the ASUS ENGTX560. Give your reasons please. I need the answer before Wednesday (2nd...

Anyone Have An Asus A8N-SLI MB?
I messed up. My BIOS chip arrived in the mail, and I got so anxious to install it, that I popped the old one out before checking it's orientation. Even if I had, I'm not certain that it would have been the total answer, because the new chip appears to be generic and has a paper label that doesn't...

Just upgraded to windows 7. The only problem is that Windows blocks the drivers needed for my TV Tuner. A (ASUS PVR-416, Hauppauge Conexant 2388x (BlackBird)) I rolled back the drivers and they sort of work . They are not blokced but the picture is normal for about 30 seconds before going blocky...
