Windows 7
Intel Drivers (Old-XP,Etc.)

I finally solved my own problem with these drivers, after looking around Win 7 for a few minutes.

With the old discontinued Intel drivers, which were only made for XP.
(The only one I'm sure works, since it's the only one I have tested, is the 845G Series chipset drivers, mine is the 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV rubbish.)

If people would like pictures later on, I will definitely add them, I'm just here to solve problems I saw with other people.

So the issue I actually had, was that since my computer was built for XP, and it is old. All my drivers for my graphics were discontinued, and stopped being updated after XP.

I discovered how to make those XP drivers work. (I also apologize for my separated. one-sentence paragraphs.)

Download the driver you need from Intel, but instead of downloading the .EXE file, download the zipped folder with the driver inside, it's meant for developers, but this is the only way I have figured that it works, since when you open the .EXE it gives you the "Operating System is not supported." error. Moving on, extract the zipped folder into a new folder on your desktop, call this folder whatever you wish, just remember that you are going to need it.

Next, go into the Device Manager (Search tool, if you can't find it, look for Device Manager.) and select the device you wish to update with the actual driver that goes with it. You must select the actual device/driver inside the sub-category. Then at the top of the Device Manager window, 3 small icons should be there on the right, that weren't before, click the icon that has the green arrow pointing upward, this is the 'Update Driver Software' button.

In the menu that should pop up, you have two selections, Windows can search automatically, or you can browse your computer for the software.
Select 'Browse my computer for Driver software'.
Select the Browse button, then select Desktop, (It's at the top of the pop-up menu) and then select the folder you created earlier and extracted the driver into. Now before you click Next, make sure you have the 'Include Subfolders' button checked!
It should then search for your driver, find it, and install it, it will then ask you to restart, to allow the driver update to take effect, close your work and restart.

Voila, your driver should now be properly installed.
Hope this helps some people who are struggling with such a fantastic OS because of a silly driver.
Request pictures if you think they will help.
Thanks, and sorry if this guide was already made, I hadn't looked yet.

NOTE: I do believe this might work for any drivers that you need but don't work because of an improper OS type, a few variations may have to be made however, just make sure that you get the developers version in a zipped folder, this may work for .EXE files, but I haven't tested this.

Cheers, Payton.
