    Driver for Monitor

Hi there my monitor currenty displays "Generic PnP Display" but I have checked in Hardware ID and it says MONITOR\CMO1526 but the thing is I can't seem to find a driver for this display and is causing some problems for me.
If anybody could link me to a driver for this monitor it would be much appreciated and earn REP, thanks in advance.

    Hi mjwilson94. :)
As you can see below, Acer doesn't offer any monitor driver to your model. What kind of problems? Could be clearer? "Generic PnP Display"
just describes that Windows can not determine the model and manufacturer. There is nothing to worry about.
    Hope that helps.

Well while playing games on my PC I have been encountering severe flickering which means I can't really see anything on my screen I was just wondering if this could be part of the problem?

I would wager to say that this would be a problem with graphics and nothing to do with your monitor or monitor driver. Windows sets up monitors with its own basic driver that should work fine. You could also test this by trying other monitors. I would definitely make sure old graphics drivers are removed and the newest driver installed
