yes, I did. I downloaded the file. After I unzipped it, it didn't have the .inf file that win 7 Add Printer was asking for. In other words, after I added a printer by creating a new ip to the local port, I browsed the usb where it has all the files, it doesn't have the .inf file. What should I do? Thanks for sharing.

Not the best way, but did you try from device manager?

Where's Device Manager. How do you get to it? I am more familiar with WinXP. This computer is my daughter's. I go to to Start/Devices and Printers/Add a Printer/Add a local printer/Creating a new port(then on Pull Pown menue, I choose Standard TCP/IP port/192.16.1.xxx).Thanks richc46.

Me bad, in Seven for printers, you went to the right place.

    This is what you do
    Go to the website
    Download to your desktop
Unattach everything including printer, but not, keyboard, mouse and monitor.
    Then turn off internet.
click on the file on desktop and follow directions
    Do it slowly and carefully.
If for some reason it does not work, try the driver for Vista and then XP, using compatilbity mode.
Attach printer when told to do so.

Not for your printer, but same in principle

For compatiblity mode, right click when its on your desktop

There is no need for any other steps.
    Good luck
