    Can't Connect Bluetooth Headset - Nokia BH-503.

    Hi
I have a bluetooth dongle from 'Enter Peripherals' . Specifications read that it works with win7 (no mention of the bit though 32 or 64?)
I have sony vaio all in one computer (Model VPCJ113FX/B) and I want to connect my nokia headset, model BH-503.
I have tried various options :
1 - I have connected the blue tooth device with usb.
2 - I have changed the computer in discoverable mode
3 - I have checked the device manager and bluetooth dongle is appearing without any issues.
Just to add, the headset is fully charged and after pressing it for few seconds once the blue light starts blinking, i try to connect it with my computer. the headset doesn't appear despite using 'add device' in the bluetooth window. my computer is able to detect other bluetooth networks though.

    Pls help
    Thanks

Was this bluetooth headset ever paired with any othe device (like a cell phone)?

If yes, then you need to reset the bluetooth headset so it can release the existing pairing with the cellphone. Then try to connect it to the PC.

Well perhaps can you try to pair it with a cellphone first just to confirm if everything works?

    Here the answer!!!!!

reset your BH503 headset...(press multifunction key hold and press volume up key until the three colour red, gree, blue blinking)...go to bluetooth icon tray, right click and add device...when the BH503 appear PLEASE DON'T Click NEXT first..but right click at the bluetooth headset icon...tick "headset/handsfree/stereo" in the box...and then you can click NeXT... while it's installing quickly PLEASE CLICK 'SKIP OBTAINING UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT' in blue link or it will update unwanted #$%^^... just wait...when its finished, go to sound icon, right click go to sound..click Playback Tab, find the suitable Bluetooth Headset and right click ... click Set As Default...and tadaaa!!!! its works for me!!!!!!!
