problem installing driver for webcam

    Yes you will be ok using the Vista driver although you may have to install in compatibility mode but usually they work just fine

    by the way, I used a program called driver magician to extract the webcam drivers to a folder, then uninstalled my webcam drivers, then reinstalled it using the backed up version, but now my AVG 2011 Free Edition Antivirus shows some of the files installed as Virus. I let it delete them, however the camera is still working fine. Do you know if this is something I should be worried about?

    You can get a lot of false/positives from A/V software I personally would reccommend using Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast both are free to download Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials and avast! - Download Free Antivirus software or Internet Security

    but if it works, I will stick with installing the drivers from the trust.com website
