    problem installing driver for webcam

This is the message shown about the device in Device Manager in the device status box:

    Code:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
What does it mean by not enough storage?
The webcam had ADDION written on it but I can't find it's website
It comes with a driver and webcam video setup file, but it says it cannot install driver
    It is a USB webcam
If you need additional information please let me know
    Please help

    Thanks in advance

    :)

    -- EDIT --
It doesn't install in XP either

Ok I installed the driver from your link but it's still not working
    Any other ideas?
I should also point out that there is a possibility of this webcam having some kind of physical damage
Is there anyway I can make sure about that?
    Thanks

Hi mahaju, after more searching I still have not found a viable link The camera is Korean made by Panwest the Lebeca and panwest sites are no longer in existence so we will have a go at getting the camera working on the drivers you already have

step 1, uninstall the drivers for the cam you already have on the PC, diconnect the cam from the USB port
step 2, reinstall the drivers in Compatibility Mode making sure the camera is not connected to the pc
step 3, reconnect the cam , windows should find the new hardware and load the drivers
step 4, if It still does not work , go to "device manager" scroll down to the webcam ,highlight and right click on it and select "update driver"

If it still does not work then I am at a loss I can help you no further sorry

    Hi
I tried all your suggestions but nothing did the trick
Then finally I let it automatically search for the driver in Windows Update and it is working now
    It installed the webcam as
    Trust webcam 14823
Is there anyway I can download this driver in a standalone way, ie, not have to download it from Windows Update if I take this camera to some other computer?

Here you go mahaju, Trust.com - Webcam VGA USB 1.1 glad you got it sorted, I should have thought of using a Trust driver they are pretty universal
