AMD 6970M drivers won't install properly.

    Hello everybody!
I've been having some minor issues with my video card lately. It is a AMD Radeon HD 6970M, with 1GB of GDDR5 Memory, that came embedded on my iMac (I'm using Boot Camp to install drivers). I can play games such as Crysis 2 and The Witcher 2 at a relatively good frame rate, although choppy and stuttery sometimes. The latter is what made me think about downloading the latest drivers, but, actually, they won't install properly. Let me explain:

    - I downloaded the Win7 64-bit version of these at first: AMD Embedded GPU and Chipset Driver for Windows XP/Vista/7
Everything installed fine, then the install manager prompted me to reboot. If you notice, they are quite old (8.89 Version); so I decided to install the newest (I heard v11.8 is the latest, along the Battlefield 3 preview driver that just came out).

    - I've tried these ones with no luck:
    ATI Radeon
    ATI Catalyst
Also tried some hotfixes and the BF3 preview drivers. None of them will work. Why? Well, because I try to install them, but the actual install of any of these takes about 15 seconds, and says that everything was installed. Thing is, it won't prompt my PC to reboot, and, also, when I check my version on CCC it still says 8.89... What is going on?

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

    8.89 is Catalyst 11.9

That 8.89 thing is the internal version number. Don't worry about it. That way on nvidia it will show 2.xxx where as I have downloaded version 285.26.
