I admit that I am not the brightest bulb when it comes to this stuff. I downloaded what you told me to and I extracted it to my desktop. Inside is a folder that says Win7. Inside that are 2 folders, 1 reads 32 and the other reads 64. I click open the 64 and see:

    *note - text doc
    *rt64win7 - security catalog
    *rt64win7 - setup info
    *rt64win7.sys - system file
    *rtnicpop64.dll - app extension
    *rtnuninst64.dll - app extension

    There is nothing to install??

The 32 bit folder has the same things.

omg .. God Bless. Thank you I am now online! Now to save that folder to a stick!

What is a .ROM file, btw? I'm a bit confused whether that is what made me get internet or if it was that Win 7 folder you had me download. I was downloading a driver from the ASUS site .. the name is M3A78-ASUS-2301.ROM
