    Wait... what?

Where did you get "updated drivers for the x300"? From the Sony site, specifically some packaged/numbered download file to update the drivers for the "video" of this box?

Or just standard Catalyst drivers from the ATI site that were named when you searched for x300 latest drivers?

What is the version and date of these "updated drivers"? What had you previously been using, if you remember?

And why hadn't you done either of these previously? You didn't think the x300 was capable enough for use in gaming?
Previously I used the Sony provided drivers, then I found that ATI has newer drivers but they are not listed as x300 drivers which is why I couldn't find them before, and yes I did not think the x300 was capable of gaming, but as I posted earlier it was really nothing more then a stupid mistake to think that as this was a top of the line Media optimized PC for it's time, which was a while back (7 years) but still can handle most modern games on low to mediocre settings depending on the game. The drivers I am using now are the Legacy Drivers direct from ATI. Still can't get the 4350 to work (And yes I used the direct ATI drivers for that, or tried) but now that I know more about what the x300 can really handle, which I think it's more then enough for a computer that I'm really only going to use when I have friends come over to LAN. I didn't need top quality or even mediocre quality, just enough so that on low settings (But not too low) the games can run smoothly. It's nearing it's end for compatibility with the latest games and hardware, but that's to be expected after 7 years.

Okay, I know it's been 212 days, but today I decided to attempt the video card install again, and found out that the RAM was actually taking up the resources. I'm running on only 2GB of RAM now (Originally 3GB), but now have the higher graphics performance I was trying to obtain with the install. I only post this so anyone else with a similar problem can have a possible solution since I've found it no where else on the net.
