I went to the hp site to try downloading the m3027 so I can get scanner working on my m2727 but it only shows me a binary download...I won't pretend to know what I am doing, so can someone give me more detailed info. (m3027 does not appear on hp list when I choose add printer)

Printing over network

I am able to print to my 2727 over a wireless network by adding another printer and chooosing the drivers for HP LaserJet 4345.

When I print locally, I choose HP2727 drivers.

When I print over the network, I choose the printer with the 4345 drivers.

Hope this helps,

Some months ago HP released a driver package for Win7 and the 2727mfp. So that's what I'm using now.

Hi. I am having this same issue. With Windows 7 Ultimate x64, I installed the Win 7 software for the m2727 and I still can't scan. I can print to the printer but when I try to scan in Adobe Acrobat X I get a "scanning cancelled" message

HP LaserJet 5000 drivers?
Is there any driver better than the Windows 7 default driver or the ones currently available from HP? Those from HP seem to be actually for a different printer - the HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Series. The real issue is that those drivers only support a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi but the HP...
