Windows 7: Issue trying to burn a DVD in Windows 7

The disk is empty

If I open my computer and double click on the CD/DVD drive, it displays the attached and the disk shows nothing on it.

Windows 7 Professional SP1 32-bit

That's what I thought...Windows isn't recognizing the disc as already having been written to, because the session is still open.
Closing the session should fix this.

Yes, windows 7 is good, but i like windows 8 more :)! Windows 7 is easier to use, but again that start screen is smexy lol. So i was wondering. I have alot of movie dvds and windows explorer allows you to format them... is it possible to install a windows 8 iso from a Movie dvd?:confused:

Hello, I burned a successful ISO with windows and it verified but I often read that Image burn is the way to go with ISO burns, should I burn one with that software as well and is there any difference? Thank you

I have 120 gb external drive. I don't mind using the external drive to burn the system image on as i barely ever use it and yes it still works. However, I worry about system image being re written by virus should i ever get a virus, spyware, malware, ect. on my external drive and then the viruses...
