ATI 11.10 Drivers = Overscan on HDTV

I've been running my w7x64 off of my G73jh laptop for two years now. HDMI to a Vizio V042 42" HDTV.

11.9 Drivers work fine so it's not the TV.

11.10 display so you cant see the edges of the screen, but on the laptop display it's fine. I noticed the overscan controls are grayed out now. If I change the resolution to 1280x720 the display is fixed and controls are back. If I roll back the drivers, all controls are back as well. Seems to me it's the new drivers but thought I'd post.

I'm tempted to try a custom resolution display, but the warning of damaging the TV made me pause.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for the heads up. I'll stick with 11.9 for now.

I'm having the same issue; I guess I'm going to have to try the 11.9 drivers and HDMI.

Have you tried installing the Catalyst application profiles 11.9 version?
