    Built-in cyberlink youcam missing after reinstall windows


    Two days ago I've reinstall windows for some reason..after reinstallation complete I've download more than 90 windows update and my laptop working properly. Unfortunetely the built-in cyberlik youcam missing and I can't find the software or driver to fix my problem. When I downloaded this software from web it's just give me a trial version.. help me guys !!!

    Hi komputer rosak, have you tried the cyberlink website ? CyberLink Windows 7 Updates Center - update PowerDVD, PowerDirector, PowerProducer and other multimedia software this link is for the win7 updates .This link is for the software CyberLink Software Updates :)

    Thanks for reply...yea I've visit their website as you linked above, but it's only give me option to update software that has been installed but my problem is I've not yet install this application because I cannot find the software except the only paid software...thank you..

    Hi komputer rosak ,the only reason you can find paid for software is because it is a paid for commercial product if you want the software you have to pay for it I'm afraid

    Actually, I don't mind missing this application from my PC...but I'm really appreciated if you guys can suggest me other webcam application with great features and the most important, it's totally free...

    I think the issue is that some computers come with a "free" version of some Cyberlink products pre-installed. If you made a backup disk when you first bought the computer you could restore that. It will overwrite your new Windows though.

    You could try these Yawcam - Yet Another Webcam Software or Download Easy Free Web Cam 4.2.4 Free - A fully featured web cam with a great looking interface - Softpedia will try to find some more for you :)

    Have you checked out the downloads section on your laptop manufacturer's website for your model? Some will offer the exact same software for download that came preinstalled with your system.

    Yes, I've visit the manufactures website and looking for apps & driver, but it's look like nothing they can do to fix my problem...
