    Welcome to seven forums

have you tried the acer site for the camera driver?

Also could you fill in your system specs ( in usercp).

    thanks

You know, this is interesting.. I just installed Win7 on the 8930, which has the Acer Crystal Eye webcam too, didn't check whether it works or not (I just installed windows, no speciality drivers from the Acer site).
Today, after booting up Skype, I went into the video call section, and lo' and behold, the webcam works without a flinch!

I suspect that either Win7 has a good enough driver for the webcam already, or that it finds the right ones later..

I'll add a screencut showing the drivers installed on the HD CrystalEye.

Here are the models Acer says are "eligible models"...

    - Acer Support

And I'm guessing you've already tried the latest drivers from your models Product Page, as you said you've tried to run as admin.
