Uniblue and Avanquest can not reach an understanding:I have used driver genius from avanqust software for a while now,and today i purchased powersuite from uniblue where as you know driverscanner is included and driverscanner detected 2 driverupdates even though driver genius reported no critical drivers for this computer,i followed the advise from uniblue and installed what seems to be missing, confused? I am.

The is the exact reason these type of programs arent recommended. Each works off their own list of current drivers that can be up to a year old.

The best way is to do them manually by going to the mfr's site.

Driver scanners are, on the whole, a complete waste of money and are regarded by many as just snake-oil. It is far better to know what hardware you have got and then go directly to the manufacturer's website to obtain the current driver.

From your specs, I can see that you have a laptop/notebook, so your first port of call should be the web support page for that model.
