Cannot reinstall the driver after I uninstalled it (NVIDIA)

    Hello!
I really need help, because I just uninstalled my Nvidia 9400 Drivers.

I was trying to install the newest drivers, because Battlefield asked me to do so, so I downloaded them, but they couldn't be installed, I was getting this error:
"The graphic driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware."
    The latest version is 285.62.
I would like to know atleast how can I put my 1920*1080 resolution back, because it is 1280*1024 now and if you could help me to install the 285.62 version.
    Thanks a lot!!!

yes the resolution is maxing like that because it currently only sees your display as a vga device.

I would try booting in Safe Mode and using Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper to remove the nvidia display driver completely.
It sounds as if the uninstall was not complete.

This may or may not fix it but it's the most logical first step here.
