Welcome to SevenForums:

Have you tried going to device manager and using the update driver tab?

The reason I ask is the two drivers I can find for your device have been removed from all these sites.

Yes I have tried updating from device manager. I've also tried forcing windows to show all previous installations of drivers it has installed. I deleted all of them and then tried to force install another but it says it is not compatable.

If I ask it to auto update the driver after removing all copies of the driver from the system, is just installs the same one and I get the code 10 error again.

thanks for the assistance.

I don't know if this will help you, but it worked, almost, for me. (One function -remote control still does not work).
I had the little CSR dongle and could not get it to work no matter what. It would get identified as generic bluetooth, but simply would not function.
I tried an experiment. Though I knew Broadcoms driver would not find a CSR device, their driver program had additional software which was what I was interested in.
When the I got the message "no device found, install aborted", I went to the drectory where all their software had installed and ran the management program anyway. At first, all it did was detect my Motorala bluetooth headphones, but would flash in and out. I was pretty sleepy, so I gave up and went to bed. When I woke up, my computer had restarted and 3 of the 4 drivers my headphones needed had installed. Only the remote control function still has no driver. The "allow a device to connect" is still greyed out, but I could pair my headphones and now when I turn them on, my computer switches from speakers to headphones and they work. Both, the mono (for skype) and stereo, for music and videos, work fine and are listed correctly as Motorola S305 Bluetooth. Whether this makes any sense I don't know, but my headphones now work, and I can play video games, listen to music or watch videos using my headphones. (just no remote play, stop, ff functions).

Hi, new to the forums. I just installed Windows 7 and I've gotten most everything to work except for this device. I tried running the installer off the disk and it would not connect to my headset. Any suggestions?
