Saving a Single Installed Driver for Future Use?

I'm curious how this could be accomplished. Also, if a driver is uninstalled through Device Manager, it would be permanently deleted from a system, correct?

I'd really like to know how to accomplish this without using another program. I didn't think to specify that originally.

win10 dism can export drivers ( but it exports all of them - not just one). Win7 dism does not have that function.

I think there may a complicated method using devcon.exe ( but that also doesn't come with win7 ) , and it is much easier to use dism++

SIW2, would C:\windows\system32\drivers have drivers as long as they are not deleted, just simply disabled?

In most cases they will be in windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository, but you need to know what you are looking for.

Not really too. They could stay in the system here: windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository and duplicated by newer install each time.

For example, I always install repair my Ethernet realtek drivers (see pics) which not delete the previous driver and even with some drivers uninstalled they still persist in that folder.
