    Need Drivers for Intel i865/PE/G/i848p

Hi everyone i need VGA/Sound/Ethernet and Chipset Drivers for a motherboard that comes out of some desktop system from HP or Dell. I checked the model with CPU-Z and it says:

    Manufacturer: Hewlet-Packard
    Model: 090Ch
    Chipset: Intel i865/PE/G/i848p

I failed to find the drivers everywhere from Intel.com, dell.com, hp.com etc. Even google failed as well and now im really tired finding them. I need to fix it for somebody who cannot afford to upgrade or buy anything at the moment. Please if anyone have let me know or give me the exact link where or how can i download.

    Happy New Year!

Considering how old that chipset is and how long ago Intel dropped support for it, this may be the best you're going to get,

    Graphics drivers (lack of them):

Graphics — Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system

I'm not sure whether the other drivers are in similar state, but I'm not optimistic.

    Best of luck.

You're Welcome boogieboy, If you decide to go further (Win7) you may have a little difficulty installing the drivers on an older model PC but it can be done , If you are happy with it running as is I personnally would leave well alone
