    Drivers for Line6 GuitarPort

Anyone have luck with W7 drivers for the Line6 GuitarPort? I saw a couple threads here. One said Line6 products worked great on W7, but that was one of the earlier builds. I have the RC Beta (latest) and the drivers from Line6's site (XP/Vista) do not work. They do not have W7 specific drivers, yet.

My device is showing red constantly and I get no sound through it w/o the drivers, apparently.

Strange, I found this from a guy who installed it on Win7 64bit using vista drivers.
The only thing that didn't work was some plugins.

    Here's the piece:

    Hi All,

My problem is with Line6 Monkey, but I didn't see a thread for that so I'm posting it here under Pod Farm...

I've been using my guitarport and line6 software for a long time (previously on XP 32-bit) and I recently Installed Windows 7 64-bit RC1. Now when I open the Pod Farm App It properly detects that I have a Guitarport installed and I'm able to play and record with it but when I open up the Monkey to install/unlock the expansion packs I've purchased, Monkey doesn't see my guitarport. It will say that it wasn't able to find any supported hardware and will show me the window where I normally would be able to select my product from the drop down menu but the ONLY product I see in the menu is PodXT. So if I just select that and continue, nothing shows up to be updated/installed.

The troubleshooting steps I've tried are reinstalling Monkey, reinstalling Pod Farm, just installing the Guitarport drivers, and installing ALL the drivers. The drivers and installs I used were freshly downloaded from Line6.com and were the Vista Drivers. I'm highly confused because the Pod Farm see's my device and can use it, but the Monkey can't. On a side note, I would consider myself a fairly savvy PC user.

Is there a workaround so I can use my plugins I purchased?

On another Side Note: After upgrading to Windows 7 64-bit, the sound quality that comes from my guitar & Pod Farm is noticeably more clear, crisp and full. Its astounding how much difference it makes!

I look forward to a quick response as I miss my sweet plugins,

    Dan
