Anyone else had a BAD_COOL_CALLER w/ a Gateway laptop?

    If this happens only under these circumstances, then the cure is fairly obvious is it not??

    As much as I like the Antism, I would suspect chipset driver.

    You're probably correct and it's certainly easy enough to find out... Its just that when I read the circumstances to his occasional bsod, I couldnt help but recall what you have said in the past and it .... felt so appropriate, that I threw it out there...

    becase i DL massive amounts of files/music/movies via torrents.


    and like i said, its not always utorrent specific, occasionally it happens while surfing using chrome/FF

hi I have a gateway m 7315u with vista premium- 4 gigs of ram intel duo core 2 ghz 64 bit. I have the win 7 disk I upgraded my desktop with no problems. It is good for 3 pc and I put the win 7 disk in my laptop and everything goes fine untill it gets halfway thru " gathering files settings...
