windows vista display driver has stopped responding

    windows vista display driver has stopped responding


    Hi I'm not terribly tech savoy but hear it goes. Im getting an error saying windows vista display driver is not responding and my computer screen will go black and sometimes restart. I'm using windows 7 32 bit so im not sure what vista has to do with it although i did updgrade from vista please let me know about any info you need from my hp pavilion laptop and how I can find it for you. It has intel 2 core duo
    Very grateful for any help from the knowledgeable folks on here

    I believe I already had this driver and I updated it on device manager although I believe it said it was the most up to date I also downloaded it before from a previous link on saw a forum in here just in case

    randomly after working on my computer while on firefox mostly

    Can you please check the Driver Version for your Graphics .. Go to the Device Manager click on Graphics right click / Property's / Driver Version .. This just happens when you are browsing with Firefox ? What other programs does it happen with ?
