I'm not sure what is meant by a Windows 7 drive.
My current primary drive has had XP, Vista and Win 7 on it, same drive different OS.

Hi saiedbd, Welcome to the forums , You will only find software patches for win 7 for your laptop , The only thing I can suggest is to download the Vista drivers and install them in compatibility mode Support for VGN-CR353 : CR Series : VAIO™ Notebook : Sony Asia Pacific here is the tutorial link for compat mode Compatibility Mode the same will apply to the HP laptop also if you have any problems please post back :)
