    What is the best way to find and remove old (sometimes called ghost) drivers from a Win7 64-bit system?

    Device Manager : Hidden Devices

    Once you can see them, then uninstall. Might want to leave and and all "generic volume shadow copy", unless you want to mess up Windows shadow copy feature.
