Wireless Adapter driver not working .

I use Toshiba Satellite L645-S4056. I lost my recovery partition so i installed windows 7 from another DVD. Previously my laptop had home premium but i installed ultimate with a DVD. After installing computer doesnot detect any Network adapter. It doesnot even show wireless adpater in device manager so i cannot install specific driver. I went to toshiba website downloaded an exe file that install wireless driver specific to my model but still it does not recognize. While troubleshooting it says cannot detect any properly installed network adapter. Is it because of home premium and ultimate conflict ?? How do get proper driver and install it ?? Please help ASAP !! Thanks in advance

Did the Network Adapter get installed when you tried to install it? If not then did you get any message regarding success or failure about your efforts?

I think that things should work if you use your original Home Premium DVD that was supplied by Toshibs.

This appears quite strange. If the Network Controller is properly installed then it should have been shown as working in Device Manager. Please fill your System Specs fully. Also please download your Wireless LAN Driver from Realtek Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 7 (32/64) and install it after carefully reading the material on the Web-Page.

If the Device Manager shows that the Ethernet or the Network Controller is properly installed then connect to the Net with the correctly working Controller. This is the best I can suggest without full knowledge of your System Specs.

We shall worry about the other connection after that.

Thanks for suggestion. I already tried the driver u suggested. It didn't work. Some of friend suggested that i should find motherboard chipset driver first. I am a newbie. I dont what that is or where can i find it.
This is laptop specification from official site:

As far as the Motherboard Chip-set Drivers are concerned I am not so sure that they have anything to do with your problem and they should be already there. But you can get them for your 64-bit version from AMD Turion(tm) II P540 Dual-Core Processor Driver Download - PC Pitstop Driver Library. However before trying to install, please try what I suggest below.

Have you tried downloading and installing the WiFi driver from Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows - HP Customer Care (United States - English). If not then please try.

If you have an Ethernet connection possibility then try downloading and installing the driver from Realtek 10/100 Ethernet Driver - download tag - Softpedia.

What is their state in Device Manager now? Can you connect to the Net?

You are most welcome. Cerisk. You should mark this thread as solved and preserve the concerned drivers for use in the future if the need arises.
