windows 7 64bit dlink dwl 510 driver problems  

As it goes, windows 7 doesn't support my wireless card, without one I cant go to the internet to search Microsoft online driver database. The card in question is Dlink DWL-510... The card manufacturer isn't going to publish 64bit drivers and I don't know what to do?

The windows 7 driver database don't have my driver, although I had some success installing other drivers with similar chip-set and passes instal process (realtek), but card simply doesn't work, even when windows say that card is installed successfully.

Please help anyone....

Since you can't find a 64 bit driver just use the X86 version of Win7 for now.

as it goes , the dlink doesn't have 64bit drivers, but realtek (chipset manufacturer) has been publishing 64bit drivers.... Even windows 7 have the drivers in question, but they simple don't work... 8180L wireless card 801b... i was trying to install the similar drivers and had some luck... the windows say they are ok... but, they don't work....
someone with driver programing experience will be of some help... linux community solve the same problem with minor fix of .inf file of 8180L realtek driver.

If anyone tries the same, here are the drivers for D-Link DWL510, from the Czech Republic:
REALTEK - Download driver for RTL8180

You have to choose 'have disk" when updating drivers, browse downloaded, unpacked files, and select it is device "Realtek 8180 Extensible 802.11b Wireless Device
".
Needs a disabling/enabling from the device manager, and works like a charm.

for anyone out there: This czech driver did not work for me (under the instructions above), it gave code 35 error in device manager. Same with any dlink official win7 or xp INFs, or dlink installers methods. hopeless.

I could have tried going further with further tricks and what not, but my solution was to use another card as I don't have days and days to try and solve it.
