    AverMedia A16AR DVB-T

    Hello,

I have an AverMedia A16AR DVB-T and the tuner workd fine, but when I switch to my composite input (foxtel/paytv box output). I get a grey screen with shadows of the image. I have tried older drivers and modifying the .ini file with no luck. It works fine on the 32 bit version of Windows 7. Not on my 64-bit version.

    Can anyone offer suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Carlo.

I just got a reply from the AVerMedia-Support:

For your information, none of our devices are currently supported under Windows 7. As you know Windows 7 is still under testing state and it is not very stable. We advise you to kindly use the device under those system that have been tested and meant to work under. As for Windows 7 driver, we will let our engineers know and hope the driver will be available by the time Windows 7 has been officially released.
to me, it sounds like they were not even really working on a driver yet. kind of weird that there is no working driver yet eventhough there is some update under windows update that includes something from avermedia. (but that actually makes the device not work at all) so i guess we have to wait a little bit more unless somebody who knows how that stuff works programs some special driver to use the card properly.
This is just not true I'm using an Avermedia PCI-e TV Bravo and though it is installed in the x86 folder I have full use of the card.
Or am I missing something?. I can record TV, watch tv, stero ect in analoge but not quam or digital.. Fabe But then again I'm just hooked up to basic cable no box.
