I really wish these types of threads could get resolved before just giving up on them , i stop hearing from a helper so i just right it off as a (unresolved ) but then i get a comment from the helper weeks later which i don't understand and ask for clarification and the thread dies again.

I do try my hardest to follow along and i know helpers can get frustrated but if at all possible can we finish this ?
This is a basic heads up thread
You should be getting your drivers from the manufacture of the machine = in your case asus
Searching with the snid and every thing should come up as the current release.

What in Gods name is a "heads up thread " and never mind that , what is a " snid " , don't think i have ever run into a snid before and i hope i don't , sounds dangerous.

HEY NoN , it worked , thank you , now for the drivers or are they installed already ?

    What is the SNID number?

Like many pinned threads for flash player........ these threads update when new releases are available not for general trouble shooting of installations of those new releases.

    Great!!

In the Device Manager highlight "charles-PC" and above click on View tab, click to display hidden devices.
Then still in the Device Manager, go directly to System Device icon and highlight it and search for something called INTEL(R) Express Chipset. right click and set Properties to display, put here a screenshot of the Pilot tab.

    Thrashzone is right.

Since you started asking in this thread and this was not an issue but rather a manner to install this software i'm willing to answer for your convenience.

For those interested in, there's some WHQL new Intel Chipset .inf version 10.1.1.7, that seems to work from Intel 7 series /C216 (Z77) to those latest Intel® 100 Series chipset platforms.

I have attached a .zip file for the Intel v10.1.1.7.

All system peripherals in the Devices Manager are updated to latest v10.1.1.7 (June 16, 2015), but the USB Enhanced Host Controller stays at v9.3.0.1030 (July 31, 2013).

Run the command as Admin: "SetupChipset.exe -overall" (without quote) and reinstall your Intel RST Drivers & Software.

    See by yourself on screenshots.

Otherwise latest official Intel® Chipset Device Software (INF Update Utility) are Version: 10.0.27 (Latest) , Date: May 07, 2015

    Release Notes (May 05, 2015)
This is the best reason not to ask here when problems occur,
The update post was 4 pages back
Not even sure Brink updated post 1 ?

But it's all good NON is always happy to help
    Cheers.

Thanks to you NoN , you really came through for me , i can't thank you enough. Now, the real question is how do we eliminate Thrash Zone and make it appear like an accident ?

Never mind , we need Thrash Zone here , place wouldn't be the same without him.
