ntoskrnl Driver power state failure

    Hi...i recently installed win7 in my PC, b4 tht i wz using win 7 in my notebook for more thn 3 months without any error or BSODs bt getting bsods in pc at several places like on login screen jst after booting.Freezes screen in between multiplayer games for 20-40sec.... theze r my dump files...cn any1 help me plz.... =S

    I too have the same problem....BSOD with ntoskrnl.exe identified as the failing module. My system is Win7-64 SP1 Home Premium.

    I have a WD MyBook 1TB external attached via FireWire. My guess is this is the device that is causing the failure. Is there any way to verify this?

    My latest BSOD also occurred within abotu 15 min. of resuming from Sleep mode. My motherboard is ASUS P6T with 6GR RAM & Intel i7-920 CPU.

    I ditched FireWire and settled with USB which seems to work fine.
    You could try the same and see if it causes problems during normal
    usage.
