latecomer's post #73 provides 2 links for performing a Windows 7 clean install, which is the route I now want to go given the failure thus far to get my built-in webcam to work.
In the tutorial provided by Brink, Step 1 says :
"Do a Clean Installation if:
Your computer has no operating system installed, or it’s running a version of Windows prior to Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (including Windows XP).
You do NOT want to preserve your data, programs, or system drivers.
You want to delete your current operating system and replace it with Windows 7.
You want to create a multiboot system by installing Windows 7 on a separate hard disk partition."
Based on the fact that the product key label on my set of discs shows the following...
Win Vista HmPrm - Win 7 HmPrm UPG Fulfill
...I guess it's safe to conclude that step is not for me.
Which of the next 3 steps in the tutorial would be my best choice, then?
