OK, in clicking on the link, I'm taken to a page that says, "Test Your Webcam." Downloads for 7Zip and other links are on the page...not sure if I need to download anything or should something happen when I arrive at the page? Clicking on the title Test Your Webcam takes me to ad pages ??
No you do not need to download anything, all you have to do is click the allow button.

    Thank you...

I installed the latest flash player version first from your link and then clicked on "Allow" per the above. Nothing has happened since...

For clarification, my version of Win7 Home Premium is: Service Pak 1, build 7601. Also, my system is a 32-bit, NOT 64- as I may have previously reported in error.

Can you try a reboot and then check that website again.

You can update your system specs for us using this,

WOW, I think the System Specs dealie is awesome--thank you!

I did reboot and try the camera page again...same result: the only info that displays is:

    Camera: USB Camera

    FPS: 30

Win some, lose some : )

windows reconizes webcams as usb, even though theyre not.
for the driver from acer, yours is either suyin or liteon. rerun the utilty finder again for right driver.

But it looks like you at least get some kind of an image projecting from your cam? I get a plain, grey background...
