I removed the vista driver first so now the device is "unknown" and after I tried to install the one you gave. Nothing has changed. I have also tried manually add the driver but there was no 4965 AGN avalible.
When you install manually, don't chose the list, but browse for it in the folder where you unzipped the driver.

It didn't help. I am starting to hate this OS :P I disabled checkup if the driver is digitally signed for this 1 boot and still nothing...

Why doesn't it see the 4965 in the drivers you gave? Why if Win7 previously installed the driver (right after OS installation) automaticly now it cannot do the same?

Please tell in as much detail as possible what you did after you downloaded the driver.

    Add some screenshots too, please.

By the way, it's not the Os that's to blame. It's the f******g hardware manufactures who had three yrs to write a decent driver, but they don't want to do that, because they rather have you buy new stuff.

It's the "sell and abandon" tactics that has become the normal way of doing business nowadays.
So if you are going to complain, make sure you bark up the right tree.

    You are right in that.

Had to switch to ENG language again first to make screens. I have notebook Clevo M570RU and I have installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255) like 2 weeks ago.

I downloaded and installed this little thing:
Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility for Windows Vista* 64-Bit

It didn't work so I uninstalled it via 'Uninstall a program' in Control Panel being sure that windows will install the default driver just like it did after installing the windows. It didn't and now I have 'Unknown Device' in the control pannel. I guess I uninstalled the device and checked 'Delete the driver software for this device':

The driver for Vista that I have tried to is recognised as "working properly"

    but...

Command: "cmd /k Ipconfig /all" doesn't show wifi card

    What else do you need?

There is nothing to choose there and no download link/button. In the download center there are only xp and vista drivers for this device.

Ok, to not complicate this any further and take for ever, I suggest we go and use teamviewer so I can logon to your system.

You can google teamviewer and download it from their website.

If you send me a private message with your MSN name, we can chat and set it up.
