    MSI X58 Pro-E Motherboard


    Hi everyone, which drivers do I install for this motherboard? There are like 10 of them on their website... thanks

    using windows 7 x64 ultimate

    You may not need to install any of them... Go to the device driver page and look for any devices with a yellow triangle... note what they are, then download the coresponding driver from the mobo's website..let us know if you have any problems..

    thanks. Can I use this method for the other hardware? Or just the mobo?

    Ok I just finished installing windows 7, and there are no yellow triangles, but which drivers do I download now for better performance? Or does it not matter

    You certainly want to download the latest Ethernet and sound drivers.

    alright. I'm using a wireless adaptor though, does the ethernet driver do anything to that?

    P.S. this basically means all the drivers for this mobo are optional?

    edit: what are the Intel chipset drivers for?

    Here is a definition of what your chipsets do. What does your Chipset actually do? This is why it is always important to keep them upto date. It helps with preformance.
