    HTTP Driver missing

    I have a machine I am fixing, and the HTTP non plug-and-play driver is missing; I would like to reinstall it without a restore. I am running SFC /scannow at the moment to try and fix it as well.

    It is a Win7 Starter netbook.

    Ideas?

    Hi Overkill, Make/model of the netbook would help, Visit the manfs website and download the ethernet and maybe the chipset drivers as some use intergrated drivers

    @Pebbly
    I'm not looking for the NIC driver; I am looking for the system-included "Non Plug and Play" driver (HTTP.sys)
    I have the SYS file, but I can't install it without an INF or something else to install with. Googling the problem yielded no successful results; it is supposed to reappear on reboot, and it does not.

    SFC stopped at 53% because netbt.sys couldn't be repaired, and a system restore may be the most prudent option.

    List of currently available hotfixes for Http.sys in Windows Vista, in Windows Server 2008, in Windows 7, and in Windows Server 2008 R2
