SiS 900-based PCI-Fast ethernet driver source needed?

I'm actually running 7 RC(7100) on my kids ECS 661FX-M7 mobo, and decided to run the 7 Advisor.. it came back with "Go to the mfgr website to d/l the latest driver.." for the SiS 900-based PCI-Fast Ethernet, and also should update the RealTek AC'97 audio driver. As I already have 7 running ok on this, what should I do about these recommendations?

    Thanks, TJ

haha, as Squonksc said, you can leave it as it is, OR if its really bugging you, have a search with windows updates, if its really neccisary, it will pull a driver up for it.

As already stated, ignore it. Considering how old the SiS900 is (6-7 years old, if not older), consider yourself lucky that it has built-in Windows 7 support (also has built-in Vista support). The last driver update for it is for XP from mid 2006, so unless they sneak something in through WU I doubt it will ever see a Windows 7 driver released.

P.S. Here is the SiS download page,

Yeah, that's what I figured.. the Advisor recommended updating it, but there isnt one available. It's working under RC, I dont have to change it when I load the final version..

    Maybe export the driver.
Some drivers that were present in the RC, have been taken out of the final.

    Better safe than sorry.

    Found this,

SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter

From reading that if 7 doesn't install a driver for it out of the box, install the XP driver then hit Windows Update for a newer one.

P.S. x64 or x86? If all else fails Vista (only have 64 bit installed ATM) comes with the SiS900 driver, I can zip it and upload it, and you can give it a try.
