Cannot change light settings for VAIO webcam

    Hi everyone

installed windows 7 rtm x86 on wife's vaio cr23g which has the VCC6 webcam. Installed the vista driver for it, is working, but can't change the light settings, and most importantly, it's not letting me select the 'low light compensation' checkbox.

    Any tips?

    Have tried windows update too.

    Thanks

Have you tried running the software in admin mode?

I'm not sure then, you could give it a go and see if it works. Do you use the Sony software to run the camera on its own? If so, try changing the settings through that and see if it works.

Have you tried looking in control panels to see if there are changes you can make in devices and pronters?
