Need Help with Audio Driver on MSI MB

Hello all. I recently downloaded and installed Windows 7. My motherboard is an MSI K9N6PGM2-V with realtek onboard audio. I have tried the XP and Vista drivers and still can not get the sound to work. The device manager shows the driver installed. The volume is turned up. I may try to upgrade the os from a working XP copy to Windows 7. Anybody have any other ideas or solutions?

Have you tried moving to a different jack to see if that makes a difference, or have you been into sound manager and set up your configuration and if you are using the front inputs have you set it to disable front panel detection?

I've only got the back panel speaker output active. I have gone into the sound manager and configured my set up. What other jack would I move to? I only have one audio output that is live. Thanks for the help.

Not sure what else you can try, did you use the latest Vista Realtek driver, I have found 2.11 to be the best one so far, 2.14 seemed a bit buggy, and sorry to have to tell you but there is no upgrade option from XP to Windows 7 on Vista with service pack 1 to Windows 7.
