    Thank You so much, this solved my problem, I am able to connect to wifi after restarting my computer.

    Even NlaSvc is working

    Only services not working now are performance logs and alert access, homegroup listening, windows firewall, and diagnostic policy services

    I am trying to replace the hiv file for dps however it shows access denied

    is it supposed to be replaced to current control set or control set 001

    Quite normal. Even administrators are not allowed to change them

    Repair Install
    You must have a product key!

    nlasvc.dll was corrupt, but is repaired now! that's why nlasvc works after reboot
    Please run: sfc/scannow again. No errors anymore?

    For the windows firewall service please try the fix it tool below you will have to be logged on as an administrator to run the tool and restart the computer after running the fix.

    Diagnose and fix Windows Firewall service problems automatically

    Also the Windows event log service is that running if it is not please try and start it and if it gives an error please post error?
