Windows 7: Newly installed win 7 missing drivers ~ PCI Simple Communications

Win7 Enterprise, Win7 x86 (Ult 7600), Win7 x64 Ult 7600, TechNet RTM on AMD x64 (2.8Ghz)

I would download all of the files from the HP-Compaq site. Put each of then into their own folders. Install each file one at a time and see if any solves the problem.

win7 ultimate 32bit

it appears you've tried your OP you mentioned your monitor isn't being you check the AMD support site for your Graphics Card?

AMD Radeon

see the support tab--there may be a problem with the Catalyst Control Center

ALSO---I found this post from 2007

"If you go in device manager, click on the pci simple communications controller, go in property and then go in details. You will see a code like per example PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS...
The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device: in my case the vendor is 8086 and the device is 27D8.
Once you have the two codes, go to Enter the two codes and you should get the name of your
hardware. From there you can search for a driver download for your hardware."

windows 7 home premium 32 bit

ah... well that is useful to know and appreciated. However, I ended up just taking the machine back to XP Pro. Everywhere (even HP) I looked said the PCI driver for this mainboard does exist for Win 7

still having an issue with the Intel AMT but it's just a matter of it not running and since this is being used for personal use instead of a business application that's really no big deal. Everything is running great now, but then imagine that as all the drivers I need exist for this machine with XP Pro.

Really appreciate all the feedback and attempt to help. I'll remember this site when I get my new machine built and go with using Win 7
