BSOD when attempting to use intel driver utility

I Bought i custom built pc 2 days ago and have finished updating. I decided to check if i had any outdated drivers by going on intel driver utility. After clicking check drivers it instantly crashed and came up with the BSOD. I reinstalled windows 7 pro 64x and it's done it again. I have an Amd Quad core Pc. A10-5800k. Is it crashing because im on amd or is there something more wrong?

If you have an AMD, you do not have an Intel chipset. Intel motherboard chipsets are only with boards that have Intel CPU's.

Your motherboard (most likely) has an AMD chipset. Go to the motherboard vendor's site and the downloads for the specific motherboard model. The Motherboard manufacturer's drivers should be used.

If you have outdated drivers, try using 'DriverIdentifier' give it a quick google search, it will scan all your drivers and tell you which are outdated, it will also give you download links to these drivers.
