W7 64 bit driver for HP Laserjet 2200d

I am an accountant and do not know much about drivers and how to install them. About four months ago I noticed that my HP Laserjet 2200d was printing only one copy of a document when I selected 2 or more. Didn't give it much thought because I could print again and I did not do this often.
Tax season is coming up and I will being printing multiple copies a lot. The work around will become tiresome in a hurry. About a month ago I remembered that I had upgraded Windows XP to W7. Looked under Control panel.....System and found that the technician had installed a 64bit W7. The printer was printing correctly with WXP 32bit, so I figure that the driver might need updating to be compatible to a 64bit W7. Started looking for one and am having no luck. Finally bought "Driver Detective" and scanned with that. Sure enough it said I need a driver update on that printer. Clicked the proper buttons to start the download and install of that driver. (a long numerical file name ending in .cab like 1234567890.cab) It never did get installed although I waited an hour. Tried it twice, but still did not work.
So I am asking if anybody knows how to get the right driver and where? Install instructions will be appreciated too.
