ATI Radeon xpress 1100 driver for 7 32-bit

I have searched high and low for this and still can't find it. Don't suppose any of you guys have it? I tried the catalyst but still no dice, last driver for it is on vista, doesn't go onto 7.

    Please help.

Try Catalyst 9.2 for Vista 32. Catalyst 9.3 is the last to support Radeon Xpress, but it didn't work for me, 9.2 did. Now I have Catalyst 9.2 for Vista x64 on Win 7 x64.

    Exactly the same here:

only catalyst 9.2 works on win7 x64, 9.3 cannot be installed. Maybe i should buy nvidia next time.

Well, I have this graphics card in one of my laptops, and I got drivers from Windows Update, couldn't find any other working ones.

I have PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5975&SUBSYS_010F1025 which is xpress 1100 in acer 5050 series. As I said only catalyst 9.2 works for me and windows update cannot find anything for this model.

I definitely works with win7 x64, but ATi should do a better job with the drivers.

try the latest 9.8_legacy. if it doesn't work either, then find the xxxxx.ini file and edit the pci-id so that it can install.
This doesn't guarantee you that it'll work, only that it'll install. try it.

Where is this to be found?? The last "legacy" I was aware of was 9.3.1. Everything since then is for the newer, non-legacy cards.

Update: I found the link on the pinned post in the Graphics Cards subforum and downloaded the Catalyst 9.8 drivers -- but I am sad to report, that at least on my machine, these are the same drivers as came out with version 9.3.1. The CCC info section reports EXACTLY THE SAME version information, even to the point of saying it's Catalyst version 9.3! And before anyone asks, yes -- I tried both an upgrade and clean install, and got the same results both times.

I recommended this driver to someone in another thread, try it out on your computer and see what happens.

hier is the link to the ati site: ATI Catalystâ„¢ Legacy Display Driver
or just use motherboard/integrated->vista x64 -> express 1100 on the ati site.

In my case it still shows the old version of ccc but the "latest" 8.593.100.0 driver (which came with 9.8_legacy).

You can try to modify the pci-id (the full string) in the ini file in order to make it work. This package is supposed to support all legacy drivers and works for me on win7 x64.
