Hi Cafola and welcome to SF,

Co-processor driver normally is a part of the Nvidia chip set. Your specs show have Nvidia chipset, you may access Nvidia website here:

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Select option 2, scan and install the latest drivers.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers

    Hi Dave
    Thanks for superfast reply
I tried that yesterday and it only detected the Graphics Card
So I have downloaded that and installed
Installation OK, but didnt resolve Coprocesor

Acer only have Audio Win7 Driver
I am half way now, downloading the Vista Chipset
and was intending to try that

Is that sensible to try, or will I screw things up?
Couldnt think or find anything else to do

    Hang fire!!

Ok what was you original Operating System:

Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2

And is your Windows 7 install 32 or 64bit (you have one of these drivers installed)?

    For 32bit:
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 307.74WHQL
    For 64bit:
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 307.74WHQL

These are the latest drivers for Windows 7, problem being is that your original O/S (Win XP) was replaced with Windows 7.

So you could try the Win XP driver:

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 307.74WHQL

You may have to run compatibility mode.

    Cheers,

    Hi Cafola,

Strange as your model is listed either as XP Pro or Home Edition...nevertheless:

Try the Vista Chipset, it will either work or not.

To run the driver installation program in compatibility mode:

Configure the driver installation program to run in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode. To do this, follow these steps:

Locate the executable file for the driver installation program.
Right-click the file, and then click Properties.
In the PackageName Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows XP (Service Pack 2) in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.
Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

To run the driver installation program by using admin rights:

Configure the driver installation program to run in the context of the Administrator account. To do this, follow these steps:

Locate the executable file for the driver installation program.
Right-click the file, and then click Run as administrator.

    Collapse this imageExpand this image
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
Follow the steps to install the driver.
Let me know how it goes

    Cheers

    Hi Dave

Many many many Thanks. Problem Device is gone.

I searched for 2 days trying to Resolve this problem
I just found thousands of Questions, lots of Answers
but no Posts I could find where there was a definition of the Problem, Answer AND a Post saying Resolved

For anyone else trying to Resolve this Problem, once advised as in this Thread, it Worked for me.

If you get stuck looking for "Compatability Mode"
    (Win 7 on my Computer)
    >Help on Computer
    >Type Compatability Mode
    >Click "Compatability Mode TroubleShooter"
    >Follow the Instructions

    Thanks Dave
I hope I can return the Help by Helping someone else, sometime, about something
To me, you have been worth your weight in Gold
