Can Roll back previous driver in device manager damage/harm/corrupt?

I want to ask if I rolled back to previous version of a device driver will this cause corruption or damage to the laptop as after I have updated to a recent version there seems to be some issues and I want to roll back

Hum Koolman I downloaded from here this afternoon and have had no problems at all - did you go, to this site or just use the Windows Device Manager venue?

Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers it took a while but my machines are running fine.

Hi I did a factory reset to pinpoint a annoying pop noise and I did notice when I updated my nvidia driver or Security updates but i'm not 100% sure

Just as a matter of curiosity the popping noise was that a machine generated one ie out of the speakers or a physical noise?

Well I uninstalled Realtek HD manager + muted the sound and I can still hear it but I'm thinking it could possible be a hardware with the GPU card since when I install to a newer driver the popping noise(like maybe every 10-15 minutes) really annoying when I'm trying to watch movies.

I'm not certain but it does sound like its coming from somewhere since when the audio is playing the pop noise will have its own sound popping
