Sony Vaio VGN-NR21Z laptop Windows 7 NVidia 8400 Video Driver required

Hi all, I have just installed Windows 7 on to my Sony Vaio VGN-NR21Z but can't seem to find the correct drivers or be able to install them. Every time I check on Device Manager it just says " Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and not "NVidia 8400M GT" as it should.

Please can someone help me find the correct video graphics driver for my laptop and tell me what method to install it.

    Thanks I really appreciate it.

Hi Teckniqs, Sony prefer you to use their gfx driver Sony : VGN-NR21Z/S updates | Download updates for VGN-NR21Z/S This is the driver that came preinstalled on your laptop It is for vista , install it in compatibility mode

Thank you Pebbly you are an absolute star!! It took a bit of fiddling about at first as the driver kept on saying it was for XP and not compatible and then something about it not being made for 32bit but I managed to get it going by finding a setting to chose other versions of Windows it worked on, selected Vista SP2 and it's installed. Thank you so much.

You're very welcome Teckniqs, Sony and Nvidia do not go very well together that's why you have to use their (Sony's ) drivers Dell are almost the same
