hi ive recently got windows 7 ultimate but my resolution is messed up. circles apear to be squished from the side and the game i play, Counter Strike source, apears to be squished from the side too.
Can anyone tell me the correct resolution for a widescreen 22" Dell monitor 47cm x 29.5cm on Counter strike source plz? thanks

well....off the top of my head the usual 22' resolution is 1680x1050, but that dont mean thats your screens native res, whats the actual product code for the monitor..??

what does windows 7 report your current resolution as..?? (via the control panel)

have you updated your GPU (GFX card) drivers since the install..??

thanks 4 post erm..
i havnt updated because there isnt any new drivers =/ and cant find product code but i can tell u that it came with a dell inspiron 531 similar to 530
and my screen resolution is 1680-1050 but circles and the screen apears squished from the side

ive found the normall resolution to vista. 1680x1050 is too small 4 me but 1280x800 is just right but the thing is that the screen seems bluury.
ive found the nvidia drivers and updated it.
