Z68XP-UD3P How to update bios? Help!

Hey everyone!
I am having several problems with my mouse cursor jumpid around, and I have tried everything.
I am not totally sure, but I am fairly certain that it might be because I have never updated my BIOS.
I dont know how to do it, or if thats what I should do.
I have had problems with my mouse for a week or so, and I have tried a LOT of things during that time.
And when/if I have to update the bios, do I have to "flash" it as well? (I don't know anything about this.)

The mouse problems:
Frozen on startup. (My Razer mouse at least.)
Lagging/jumping/hanging.
I read THIS thread about the bios, which he said had solved several lag issues for him. :)

My Bios version is "Award Software International, Inc. F2, 25.05.2011"
(It's what it says in the msconfig32 at least.)

Any help would be appreciated! ^^

Updating and flashing are actually the same thing.

Before we look at doing this, I have one question for now: is your mouse plugged into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port? It should be in a USB 2.0 port.

I would not recommend updating your bios just because you can't think of anything else to do. If you mouse worked with those bios before they should work with those bios now. I will go back to watching now. Please reply to TwoCables post.

Just what have you tried? A "LOT of things" doesn't really tell us anything. Have you deleted and reinstalled the drivers? As TwoCables asked, are you plugged into a usb2 port? Has this just started or has it been going on since you first got it? Have you ran a sfc/scannow or tried a restore point to before this started? Have you tried the mouse in a different computer to see if its the mouse itself? Updating a bios is a major thing with the possibility of bricking your machine and should only be done as a last resort. Imho, of course.

My usb is connected to a USB 2.0 port.
I have tried:
Reinstalling Drivers (In device manager).
Reinstalling Firmware.
Scanned for viruses w/ MSE.
Cleaned Registry w/ CCleaner.
Done a sfc /scannow.
Tried other ports.
Tried "Load optimized Defaults" in the Bios.
Tried using another User on the computer.
Tried safe mode.
Going into "msconfig", to the "Boot" tab, and into the Advanced Options and ticked the number of processors to "4". (Quad core)

That is what I have tried so far.
My specs are the following:
Tower - Coolermaster Elite 430 Midi
GPU - Asus Radeon HD 7950 3GB "DirectCU II TOP"
RAM - 8GB DDR3
PSU - Fractal Design Tesla 650W Standard
CPU - Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core 3.3 Ghz
SSD - Kingston HyperX 120GB 2.5" 555MB/510MB
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM
MOBO - Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P, Socket-1155

Could the problem be my Universal Serial Bus Controllers? (They have a yellow warning triangle on them)

Well, I think I solved it!
It was a very easy fix after all I guess, but how could I have known that the Wireless reciever was so bad!
Basically what I did was to change the USB port to the one on my keyboard, so that the small Usb reciever was close enough :)
I had it in the front port of my computer, but it was apperantly too far away!

Thanks for atleast leacing a few responses :)

Great that the mouse is working, but if your USB ports are showing up with yellow triangles in Device Manager, you have another issue present in the system.

Sorry for not officially solving it ^^
And if you wanted to know Deacon, on the Other Units tab in Device Manager, there are two Universal Serial Bus (USB)-controller which have yellow triangles on them. Si yes, I might have a problem, if that is counted as a problem ^^
